She rode her self-trained Connemara mare, EventPonies.Com, to vicotry amongst a field of 17 horses. She bought the pony from Gardiner, NY breeder Ginny WInkler, of Journey's End Connemaras.
Seized horses in animal cruelty case find local safe havens. Equine Rescue Resource Inc. received cruelty complaint on Easter Sunday. Turned the complaint over to enforcement, an investigation was conducted and an arrest made. Search and seizure warrants were executed and all 11 arabian horses - including pregnant mares and stallions - were removed and transported to safe havens, some of which are in New Paltz, Gardiner, Montgomery and Pine Bush.

You as the owner/trainer must create a friendly, but "I' am the boss" relationship with your horse, if you want a long and rewarding partnership with him.
