our services to you. And thanks
to all of you for making Hudson
Valley Horses a success.
We currently have over 7,000 unique
visitors a month and an astonishing
20,000+ page views – that
means many of you are staying
around and looking at a lot of
ads and information!
The first thing you will notice
is the new look.
We are still working on additions
to the site, but some of the new
things we have already implemented
are an online bookstore in association
with Amazon.com, so if you are
thinking of buying any books,
we would appreciate if you do
it through us. (The prices are
the same as if you bought it directly
through Amazon and we get a small
commission.)
Many of you who took our improvement
poll indicated that you would
like more equine related content
and we will be doing that in the
next few days with a number of
articles that we will be adding
to the “In the News”
area. If you have an article of
interest to the Horse community
of the Hudson Valley (or beyond)
please submit it for review at
“Equine Articles.”
Another feature we will be implementing
is a monthly newsletter. The newsletter
will include Training tips, Equine
Health related tips, and general
Equine information, links to our
on line articles as well as some
web site and computer tips.
Additional areas we will be creating
are an online tack store and an
online forum to communicate with
others around the area and around
the world and it will be coming
in the next few days.
As always, the center of the site
has been the classifieds and they
also have been improved. We have
added additional categories and
areas. For instance, the new category
of “Tack and Equipment under
$150” is FREE – this
will help you clean out the barn
and it won’t cost you anything.
“Tack and Equipment under
$150-$300” is only $10 for
a 30 day classified and “Tack
and Equipment Over $300”
is only $20.
